research- editing in music tracks.

We researched into the different editing used in genre's similar to ours and how these could inspire us to put in our video. We have already researched into some of the mise-en-scene and location we are going to use but we thought it would be helpful to research in depth what editing we can use.

I watched the behind the scenes video for the Katy B video 'Whats Love Is Made Of'. When she is singing in the car, she says they have to make the track faster than what it already is in the actual video and then slow it down when it comes to editing the final piece, because when it comes down to editing the lip syncing doesn't fit right, because otherwise it looks like she is talking in slow motion because of how slow the track is. So we could take inspiration from this video when we are editing and lip syncing our video, especially because our music track is rather slow.

The second video we thought we could take inspiration from is Little Mix- Hey How Ya Doin?, the way they use the transition at the start of the video we thought we could use it in our video as it looks very effective and we could probably fit in into our track as the singer is talking about 'lines' so we could make it link in with that.
