A typical convention of our genre would be that they use quite a lot of lighting whilst filming to give it that urban look so we were thinking about what lighting we were going to use in our music video and we decided we would maybe hire some professional lighting for our video to make the effect of the video look a lot better. We were thinking of hiring something like this:

 

 

Also Rachel recently went out shopping and spotted some 'DIY' lights we could use in the video to make it look a lot more effective, we want to make our video look as good as we can and we'd like to experiment with different things. These are what Rachel found whilst out:

 

 

 

Although they aren't the professional types of lighting we thought we may be able to find something to do with these lights to make it look creative. We've took inspiration from a music video we have previously analysed where they use their own lighting in an effective way. This is what were hoping to create:
