Before the holidays we had to choose a music track we wanted to work on to make a music video and digipak for. When all the tracks were released it was up to us to get the song we liked the most as it was first come first serve. Me and Rachel, who I worked with for the AS task, both decided to go into the resource centre and listen to each track carefully and shortlist the ones we liked. It was really hard to choose from our favourite tracks, but we had to think of which track was most relatable to us and which we could make the best video out of.
There was a lot of different genres to choose from and the majority of them were rather indie/rock tracks, me and Rachel didn't want to choose a track from that genre as we thought it would be to easy to do and also we wanted our video/music track to be unique and memorable. We also thought if we chose a song that was sung by a woman we could find an actress to be in the video for us easier than we could find a male to act for us.

I really like the track as does Rachel, and we both thought it was similar to the artist Katy B, we thought we could do something similar to her music videos and use her as an inspiration to our work.
I am looking forward to working with Rachel again and researching and producing our music video!
